Hope has been working in and around the jewelry industry since 1985. In high school she took a jewelry making class from a very talented jewelry designer and after the class had finished she did not want to stop. The designer offered her a job at the polishing wheel and that was the beginning of her love affair with jewelry.
In college Hope worked for a local jeweler and after graduating she was accepted to the Gemological Institute of America in New York City. There she obtained a Graduate Gemologist degree. During her time at the G.I.A., she also worked as an intern with a large jewelry manufacturer.
Feeling drawn to move back to her hometown of New Orleans, Hope returned and landed a job as a buyer of Antique and Estate Jewelry for an antique dealer on Royal Street. She remained there for close to six years and then decided it was time to branch out on her own.

“My father once told me if I could find something I love to do and make it into a career then I would never work a day in my life. Well, I have to say he was right, I love what I do!”
